Roped walls
All roped climbing walls designed and manufactured by DR Climbing Walls allow climbers to practise lead climbing and top roping. Our Designers can create walls to meet any requirements such as; size, difficulty, teaching syllabus (GCSE, A level), or budget.

Traversing walls
Traversing Walls offer a different type of challenge to traditional climbing walls, with the main focus of movement lateral not vertical.
This type of climbing allows experienced climbers to perfect difficult moves as well as offering an exciting and challenging introduction for first time climbers, popular in many schools.

Bouldering walls
Bouldering walls offer interesting climbing problems to climbers of all abilities. These walls are restricted to 4.5m in height are supplied with 300mm carpet top crash matts, this means ropes are not needed. The nature of this type of climbing wall and style of climbing mean problems can be changed and reset on a regular basis drawing climbers back time and time again. The excitement and accessibility of this type of climbing has seen it becoming an increasingly popular sport.

Boulders
These can be manufactured to look and feel like the real thing with the added benefit of incorporated climbing problems. Commonly installed into public parks and school playgrounds they offer an alternative to the traditional children’s climbing frame that will inspire children and adults alike.

Free Standing Towers
These climbing towers are manufactured to look and feel like real rock. Bolt on holds can be added to the towers for a variety of route setting options, however, plenty of natural rock features such as edges, pockets and cracks are designed into the towers allowing them to be climbed more naturally. Made from sprayed concrete or Freeform Fibre-glass, these walls are perfect for outdoor activity centres to be used all year round whatever the weather.
